The Blagrave Trust is delighted to announce we have a new Trustee!
Diana Leat Phd, who joined us in March, is well known in the world of Trusts and Foundations having worked with many of them including the Big Lottery Fund and Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund. Diana started her career as an academic and soon developed a research interest in the voluntary sector and social policy, holding many academic posts over the years.
Among her many achievements she developed a consortium of social justice oriented foundations, the first research centre for philanthropy in the UK (CGAP), and compiled a series of case studies on social change philanthropy for the Carnegie Trust, UK. She is the author of over 100 articles and books on the non-profit sector and social policy, specialising in philanthropic foundations.
As advice and research to inform foundations’ policies and strategies have been at the core of her work, she will be a huge asset to Blagrave as we move in a new and exciting direction, and we are thrilled to have her on board!
