The Blagrave Trust is delighted to welcome Julia’s House Devizes, a new Wiltshire children’s hospice, which opened on Saturday, 6th May.

The hospice was opened by actor Martin Clunes and its arrival was made possible entirely through fundraising by community groups, businesses and individuals with a concern for Wiltshire.
The hospice has a child-friendly Neolithic theme throughout and includes a large open-plan space for respite sessions, play and activities, a sensory room, three bedrooms and the Pegasus Suite, for end of life care.
Following the official opening, the new hospice will undergo a formal 10-week long inspection process to gain Care Quality Commission approval before welcoming the first families in July.
Julia’s House has been offering community-based care in Wiltshire for more than three years, mainly in the southern half of the county. The new centrally-based hospice will now give families county-wide access to frequent, flexible care, both in the hospice and in their own homes. We are delighted to have played a part in its success.
