The Blagrave Trust is dedicated to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within our workforce. Our aim is to create a workplace that is truly inclusive, and where everyone feels valued and represented. We believe every person’s voice is valuable, and we strive to create balance in the face of power.
As part of this work, we carry out an annual diversity monitoring survey of trustees, employees, and advisers. We acknowledge this is only a small portion of the bigger diversity, equity and inclusion conversation but we believe that as a funder it is essential we intentionally work towards creating a workplace environment where everyone feels seen, heard and that reflect the communities we seek to serve.
This is our third year of monitoring this data and the questions focus on a number of characteristics including age, disability & health conditions, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, as well as whether our people identified as sharing the lived experience of the young people we serve.
We had 28 responses including:
- 9 out of 10 trustees / independent members
- 9 out of 9 staff responses
- 10 of 13 advisers
Below, you can find the results of our 2024 DEI survey. Please note that the survey reflects the composition of the Blagrave team (employees, advisers and trustees) in December 2024.
